“Deathwish”, the debut single from the fast rising British singer Bebe Black, is in my opinion this year’s first decent dance-floor friendly synth-pop stumper. The production is flawless with a powerfully rhythmic drum section accompanied by classic house-music style piano, but it doesn’t really surprise or stand-out in any way. However, what gives the track that additional edge is Bebe Black’s gospel-like voice and impressive vocal range. The Deathwish EP drops on 21th of January.
